AntifragilityPrinciple

Amor fati

Amor fati стоицизм · Любовь к судьбе

«Love of fate». Embrace what happens - including loss, pain, and reversal - as material for the system you're building.

Plain explanation

Stoic stance imported by Taleb. Amor fati is not passive resignation; it's active assimilation. You don't waste energy fighting what already happened. You use the shock to build. Loss is information. Volatility is fuel. Reversal is feedback.

Why it matters

Without amor fati, antifragility is theoretical. The shocks come; if you can't metabolise them, the antifragile design just hurts instead of helping.

Practical example

A failed product launch. The amor-fati response: write down what the failure taught you, fold the lessons into the next launch, move on. The opposite: rumination, blame, paralysis.

How to use
  1. 1After any failure, ask «what is this teaching the system?» - not «whose fault?».
